How to create a password Protected Download In wordpress Website.
Now we are going to create a password protected in wordpress.
This plugin is developed for password protected for downloadable files and important documents where the visitors will require a password before downloading a file when you use this option.To download this plugin is very simple.
1.Login to your wordpress dashboard using username and password.
2.Go to Plugins Menu ,Then click on Addnew.
3.You will get a search bar .Search for the Simple Download Monitor.
4.Click on Install Now button,Then click on Activate Button.
Next configure the downloaded monitor plugin.Now click on the settings from the newly created download menu at the dashboard if you want to make any changes you can do.
Add a password protected download.Now you can upload a file to make it available for password protected download.
1.Now click downloads,after that Addnew from menu.
2.Enter all the details for the file like title,description.
3.Go to publishing settings arear on the right sidenext click on edit to Visibility.
4.Next choose the Password Protection.Enter the password.
5.Now Click on Publish..
